During my undergrad, I studied abroad in Tanzania and Kenya, where I taught English in a rural secondary school, volunteered with a conservation group working to protect elephants in Tsavo National Park, and camped out on the Serengeti during a four-day safari. It was the most amazing experience of my life, so much so that I dragged my fiancee (now husband) to Kenya with me again the next summer! That time, we lived in Kibera slum and volunteered with a mission group that hires local artisans and fairly pays them for their crafts so they can afford to take care of their families.
Africa holds a special place in my heart and I can't wait to go back again, but I also have an ever-expanding list of destinations I want to go to! I love adventures - the more hiking, gravel roads, and unpredictability, the better!
In addition to east Africa, I've also spent time all around the United States including Florida, New York City, Las Vegas, Route 66, Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, and the U.S. Virgin Islands and abroad in Germany.
If you have a destination wedding in mind or just want to do a wild shoot somewhere exotic, I am your girl.
